I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who treats mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma, and eating disorders in the adult population. I received my masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Virginia and focused my doctoral work on postpartum depression in mothers of newborns in the NICU. The main focus of my practice is working with women in the perinatal period including pre-conception planning, pregnancy, postpartum, and infertility. In addition to the perinatal period, I work with women who are experiencing mood and anxiety changes around their menstrual cycle and menopause. I take a holistic approach to evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment based on evidence-based practice. My goal is to ensure that treatment plans are collaborative and individualized. Sessions will include education and partnership in decision making. Collaboration with other members of the treatment team is another integral part of the process. Appointments are available in-person or virtual.
