Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor in the state of Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from East Carolina University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. Kristen has experience providing mental health care to individuals and families, utilizing her training in ACT, CBT, and DBT.

Kristen has worked in all levels of care in mental health, from inpatient to outpatient, as well as in the public school system. She has worked with women to address a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and issues related to transition and adjustment. After experiencing (and getting through) postpartum depression and anxiety, Kristen pursued training from Postpartum Support International in order to support clients during the perinatal period.
