I am a board-certified psychiatrist that treats the general adult population, with a focus on reproductive psychiatry. In addition to treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders, I focus on perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders as well as symptoms surrounding PMS/PMDD and perimenopause. I completed residency training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and received my medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.I provide comprehensive consultation to assess symptoms and create an individualized treatment plan. This typically includes a discussion about psychotherapy, medication management, and sometimes both. I also collaborate with therapists in the community as well as primary care physicians and obstetricians when appropriate to provide the best comprehensive care.
