Margaret Cardon, LPC, PMHC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in perinatal mental health, I combine my passion for helping others with a deep respect for the complex and transformative nature of the perinatal period. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, IFS, ACT, and DBT. While I tailor treatment to each individual, I almost always incorporate mindfulness and nervous system regulation techniques into my work with new and expecting parents. I am a warm and caring provider who will also challenge clients (when appropriate) to think differently, face fears, and shift how they speak to themselves.

My passion for women’s and maternal mental health has also led to experience and interest in couples therapy, as well as individual work with fathers and non-birthing partners. This reflects my holistic approach, where I consider the broader system and big picture to support clients in navigating a significant life transition.

I offer free 15-minute phone consultations prior to scheduling an intake session so we can determine if we are a good fit. I look forward to supporting you with empathy and clarity as you begin or continue your therapy journey.
