My approach is strongly anchored in the social work values of self-determination and autonomy. I believe that clients know what is best for their lives and my role is to support them. I build a warm rapport with clients and together we define goals and how we want to work together. I pull from several therapeutic frameworks such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reinstallation (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma. I am currently working virtually.
