I am a licensed clinical psychologist helping individuals and couples navigate challenging life and relationship transitions. The decision to become a parent is one that can be fraught with ambivalence, anxiety, and complicated feelings about our own upbringing. Stepping into a parent identity often means confronting the painful disconnect between our expectations and reality. Experiencing infertility issues or pregnancy loss/complications can challenge our understanding of ourselves and the world. In therapy, we will explore the duality of your experience to make room for these conflicting truths, and hold them with compassion.

I believe that powerful, lasting change can happen in the context of a safe and supportive relationship. My practice focuses on grief/loss, preparation for and adjustment to parenthood, postpartum mood disorders, and infertility. I use an integrative approach of psychodynamic and attachment-based models with concrete, tangible strategies, to reduce distress while addressing long-standing patterns that no longer serve you.
